Weddings at Work launched its flagship series of talks titled ‘WaW Meets Suppliers’ to gather seasoned and new suppliers and professionals in the wedding industry. Recognising the power of video to boost brand and event exposure and reputation, founder Benz Co-Rana partnered with CrowdClip to turn this year’s kickoff event attendees into influencers.

Personalised Videos PRO
Weddings at Work founder Benz Co-Rana has always believed in the power of social media to enhance awareness and visibility of her organisation’s brand and events.
“It is important for me that event-goers post on social media as it keeps the conversation going after the event and generates buzz for our brand and flagship event,” shares Benz.
She stressed that attendees must feel compelled to share rather than being asked or forced to. “For the previous series of Waw Meets Suppliers, I only gave away exclusive and customised freebies that would encourage attendees to share on social media. It’s up to them if they do so,” she says.
For this year’s series of WaW Meets Suppliers, she aimed to boost video content as social proof. “Video posts are more memorable and likely to build trust. Each of the attendees has their unique network and followers and I want to tap them by empowering my attendees to share videos like influencers would,” she says.
However, she knew that her attendees were not all social media savvy or could not record videos during the event, especially if they were busy listening to and interacting with others. This posed a challenge to increasing user-generated videos. To make that happen, she needed a tool to empower the attendees to share videos from the event.
Upon knowing Benz’s goal, CrowdClip introduced Personalised Videos PRO.
Each video was personalised to the participant, thanks to CrowdClip’s patented facial recognition technology. It scanned through all five-hour long recorded footage for the top moments of each attendee and then inserted it into an event recap template from the videographer.
CrowdClip provided a secured check-in page where attendees can submit their names, email addresses, and most importantly, selfies.
Known wedding and events videographer Vince Catacutan captured the event. He uploaded a same-day template of the event highlight on the platform. It consisted of typical sequences and a placeholder that would tell CrowdClip where to embed the individual clips.
Right after the event, the share hub was ready for Benz's approval for automated sharing. The feature allowed her to send the videos to everyone with just one click.
Elevates attendee experience
The CrowdClip announcement heightened the excitement of the attendees during the event and the entire process was proven to be easy and straightforward.
Much to their delight, they instantly received a personalised reel sent directly to their submitted email less than an hour after the event. It showed what transpired during the event including their individual footage, giving each of them the spotlight in the recap.
“ CrowdClip helped ensure each of my attendees gain exposure in the event without having the responsibility of creating the content such as recording and editing themselves,” she remarks. “It also served as souvenirs to ensure they would remember the event.”
Boosts video posts and social proof post-event
Benz achieved her goal of boosting video content. The increase of more than 70% in event posts was attributed to the personalised reels.
