In celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD), Powerful Steps hosted an exclusive community event at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, bringing together women leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from its network. International Women’s Day 2025 Lunch was designed not only to honour the achievements of its community but also to extend its message far beyond the garden gates.
At a strategic level, the goal of Founder and CEO Tory Archbold was to position Powerful Steps—and its community of women leaders—as a leading voice in the global International Women’s Day conversation, strengthening the community brand’s authority and relevance in a highly crowded topic.
To support this vision, Tory aimed to equip each attendee with a social-ready, personalised video that would reflect their personal experience and showcase their affiliation and network to encourage organic sharing. Through this attendee-led content sharing, she sought to maximise digital reach, boost visibility for sponsors like Commonwealth Bank and Runway Room by Alex Fevola, and generate first-party data to inform future engagement strategies.
To deliver on these priorities, her team needed an event marketing solution that offered all of these: personalisation, emotional storytelling, strong brand amplification, built-in sponsor exposure, and performance-driven analytics.
Finally, to align with the event’s core theme—how AI is reshaping leadership by enhancing visibility, empowering storytelling, and enabling purpose-driven impact—Tory sought an AI-powered solution that could elevate the entire attendee experience.
To meet Tory's goals, Powerful Steps tapped woman-led, Australian startup CrowdClip to activate its Personalised Videos PRO solution. Using patented facial recognition technology, CrowdClip AI identified each attendee’s standout moments from the four-hour long event footage. Each video was then personalised with Powerful Steps’ branding and integrated sponsor assets.
Capture
Attendees checked in via a branded registration page. CrowdClip’s facial recognition technology scanned the event footage to locate each attendee’s standout moments. The process also generated 83 new first-party leads, laying the foundation for post-event engagement and performance tracking.

Create
Individual highlights were embedded into a high-quality, professional video template, seamlessly combining guest presence with branded storytelling, including direct visibility for all key partners and sponsors. CrowdClip partner-videographer Dave Hukka captured the event.
Distribute
CrowdClip delivered each personalised video via email through a centralised share hub, enabling attendees to download and repost instantly.
Elevates attendee recognition and personal brand
The rollout significantly enhanced the attendee journey. Out of 83 check-ins, 67 personalised videos were generated (80.72%), with 82.1% of them viewing their videos directly on the platform—a strong indicator of engagement and relevance.
The videos gave attendees a powerful takeaway that captured their individual presence and energy at the event. As a result, more than 1 in 10 shared their personalised videos publicly, turning their event participation into a powerful asset for digital visibility and leadership positioning. These authentic, professionally crafted videos from the event allowed guests to show up with confidence and credibility in the broader IWD conversation.
The personalised strategy was met with enthusiastic feedback, with attendees and their networks.
Amplifies visibility through attendee-led content sharing
One of the campaign’s biggest wins was its speed and scale of impact. Within a week, personalised event videos resulted in more than 10x increase in overall post volume and a 21x surge in video shares compared to the organiser’s post about the event.
This attendee-led content sharing helped Powerful Steps achieve early visibility and strong organic traction in the global International Women’s Day conversation, amplifying its message through authentic community voices.
Boosts event digital reach and engagement
Shared organically by attendees across their own networks, the videos achieved more than 291% increase in views over the organiser’s original post.
Delivers measurable value for sponsors and community brand
Beyond engagement metrics, the campaign delivered significant value for brand visibility and sponsor recognition. CrowdClip’s integration of branded moments into each personalised video resulted in more than $2.3K in earned ad media value and more than $1.9K in influencer media equivalent. This brought the total media value to over $4.2K.
The campaign also secured 62,825+ seconds (equivalent to 17+ hours) of social media exposure for Commonwealth Bank, alongside 8,975 seconds (equivalent to 2.4+ hours) each for Runway Room and Tory Archbold’s book, Self Belief is Your Superpower
Not only were these branded impressions embedded into content, but also tracked through CrowdClip’s analytics dashboard, providing Powerful Steps and its sponsors with clear, actionable ROI.
By sharing personalised, social-ready videos, the brand unlocked a new category of user-generated content built for live events—attendee-led content (ALC)—that turned attendees into visible champions of the cause.
This organic amplification strategy significantly boosted visibility, positive feedback, and mentions for both Powerful Steps and Founder & CEO Tory Archbold, while delivering measurable value for sponsors.
With CrowdClip, Powerful Steps transformed its networking event into a high-impact digital campaign, reinforcing its community as a leading Australian voice for International Women’s Day and a trusted force in global women’s empowerment.
